About Us

Hi I am David Curtis and have recently got in to photograph mainly weddings since I got made redundant and had to make a change in my life and wanted a out of going to a office each day. It all started when a friend’s sister asked me to photograph her wedding as a few years back I had taken some lovely pictures with my compact APS camera. That I gave a full set to my friend as a present with negatives and they loved the pictures. So I go round my friend’s sister that I have not seen for about 7 years and out come the copies that she had and all the memories came flooding back. So I start looking at other photographers web sites to get ideas of shots and the biggest help was
/www.all-things-photography.com/wedding-photography-tips.html
Then my uncle asked me to photograph his wedding so I did to gaining experience so and to go and My self a decent camera so I got the Canon EOS 400D and I started of simply with using Auto mode for my uncles and when it came to my friends sister I started the day in RAW Manual mode and switched to Auto at the church then at the reception I tried a few different RAW Manual settings. At this point in time I can’t call my self a Professional but I am a serious Amateur seeking to be com professional in time so for 2007/2008 I am keeping my prices to cost and my time will be free to build up my portfolio so if you like what I have done so far and you are on a budget then contact me to see what I can do for you.

Scouting

As a Scouter I am able to combine my experience of the Scout movement with my skills as a photographer to record the adventurous, the proud and those historical Scouting moments.

I can photograph everything from the award presentation evening to the District Fun Day.
(Subject to my own Scouting committments).

As 2007 its the Centenary yearof scouting and a special year for everyone involved in the Scout movement - why not record your Pack, Group or district events with a photographer ensuring you get the pictures you need without being distracted by the young people.
